Thank you, Hope, for helping us with our Border Collie, Max. Because of you, we now have a wonderful loving family companion that we know how to communicate with. Every day we work on building his confidence, while keeping him focused on mental challenges. You helped us understand a dog that appeared aggressive was really a dog just completely scared. Max continues to love placing on many things and will do just about anything to play frisby. Thank you again for saving our Max!

Tess was a four year old GSD that came from a home where she was mostly kept on the landing to a basement stairway. Her previous owner was older and losing their memory. They didn’t know when they fed her thus her daily intake could be one cup of dry food with a chicken wing. She got about a gallon of water once a day. She ate her feces to survive. She pottied in a run that was never cleaned. She never saw a stranger. And she never saw another animal. After I got her, It took me three weeks to get in the kennel with her. As I tried to get her to a vet, she was strong and unruly-more than I could handle. I was at my wit’s end when a friend referred me to Hope. She was willing to come to my home which she did and it was a matter of minutes when she had a collar and leash on Tess and had her out of the kennel. Hope understands dogs. She knew Tess’s body language. She got to the root of theunwanted behavior, and made the needed corrections. She is kind yet controlled in her method. She explained what Tess was doing and what she was doing so that I understood what she was saying. She saved my dog’s life and I am so grateful for her.
